Tanaya Atkinson, presented as new Taronja player at Maxcolchon
WOMEN'S TEAM PRESENTATIONS
American forward Tanaya Atkinson (29 years old, USA, 1.83m) was presented today as Valencia Basket's new player until November 30 at an event held at the Maxcolchon factory in Náquera.
The player comes from Casademont Zaragoza, where she has spent the last two seasons and where she played in the EuroLeague Women for the first time. In her second season in the Aragonese city, the player averaged 10 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 13.7 PIR per game in the LF Endesa.
In her first words, Tanaya Atkinson wanted to “thank the club for giving me this opportunity. As they have already mentioned, we know each other very well, but every day I want to give something different to the club. It doesn't matter how long I'm here, it doesn't matter what contract I have. Day by day, as I said, I plan to work hard and be the best teammate I can be.”
